Bryan used to offer free drive-up paper recycling, but discontinued it to build a restaurant in that space. Does anyone know where I could take hundreds of old magazines for recycling in the BCS area?

A&M campus has a place to recycle cardboard (only) as well as plastics, but not paper.

Find a friend in CS who has room in their recycle bin every two weeks?

Are magazines not included in the paper category? According to a quick google search, the bins on campus accept paper - but I've never paid attention as I just drop off cardboard there.

Maybe someone else will be more helpful.

A&M Campus on Adriance Lab rd pretty much takes everything. Cardboard (corrugated) Paperboard, (think, cereal boxes) cans, paper, plastic, glass. No tires or hazardous. The side bins had sliding windows for sorting, but there were so many people that can drive, but cannot read. So now there is just a big open dumpster. And I understand, it is very difficult to bag your plastic and flatten your boxes.....

Thanks for your suggestions. I will check out the Adrience Rd. bins again. I know that many buildings on campus must recycle paper, but not sure if their bins are open to public use.

Last week, I took a lot of paper, glass bottles, plastic, metal cans, and flattened boxes by the Adrience Rd. site. The bins with the sliding doors were there, as were the bins with a narrow slot for the cardboard, and two large open bins.
