Need help restoring an older Kenmore Sewing Machine. Any recs other than Sew Vac City? Wonder if Hoelscher Repair Service still exists? Can't find any info. Thanks!
My mother has gotten into collecting and repairing Singer Featherweight sewing machines (it started when her c. 1980 Pfaff went caput and she was having a hard time getting it fixed), and taken classes on maintenance. I don't know if you could find classes on Kenmore repairs, but the Singer route may be the way to go.
I got an older Singer fixed by a man in Fayetteville for a reasonable price and a pretty quick turnaround. All Sew Vac City wanted to do was sell me a new machine.
