Any idea why a police officer is diverting westbound traffic on Harvey to go right/northbound on the feeder at highway 6? There is no obvious accident or anything else under the bridge or at the other intersection.

Nothing about it on CSPD's twitter account and they usually post roadway closures there.

Just happened. Some people are going to be late to work.

Road Closure: Highway 6 southbound at University and westbound Harvey is shut down. A vehicle has hit the overpass. Please be patient as we work this incident.

Weird. I was there and saw the cop block the street off. There were no cars under the underpass and no wreck. Maybe a car on the highway hit the railing up top?

My husband saw it happen. There was a piece of equipment on a flat bed that hit the overpass.

Didn't this just happen roughly a month ago?

What is strange - I walked under that overpass a week ago - after I dropped my car off at the Nissan dealership. I looked up and saw the damage from a previous hit as I walked underneath on Harvey Rd (this has happened several times in the past).

I thought to myself - I am surprised it hasn't happened again. BAM - 1 week later - it happens.

I guess it was my fault
