Brick mailbox repair questions

So, some sob destroyed my brick mailbox and it lays in chunks in my yard. Several questions, who does repair work/rebuild of this? Assume there are handymen that do this, just do not know of any.

Any recommendations, good, bad, who to avoid?

I think I have enough salvageable bricks (mortar on them would have to be removed) to rebuild, can they be used to help reduce cost?

Anyone with experience care to offer a reasonable guestimate as to cost?

Thanks for any information.

Our mailman ran into our brick mailbox last year and it cost $500 to have it repaired...and that was with us providing the bricks. We got 2 different quotes and they were both the same. Apparently masonry work is expensive. We were very impressed with who repaired ours. Can't remember his name, but his phone number is 979-220-1225

dont bother repairing... Those things have bulls eyes painted in invisible paint on them.. I see them knocked over all the time. but I never see a normal one on a post knocked over...

So drunk people seem to think a brick mailbox is a target..

and if the mailman hit your box, shouldn't the post office pay to fix it?

Not a brick mailbox, but still trying to get the county to fix/replace the post on ours after their road blader hit it.

They said they would come out and fix it. They stood it back up and propped a rock against it to keep it from falling.

Step 1: Drive through a Subdivision being built out
Step 2: Find a couple guys doing masonry work
Step 3: Pay them to come to your house and fix mailbox (It would be helpful if you know a little Spanish)

And yeah, you'll probably need to get some more bricks.
