Drove past A&M golf course today and lots of people were golfing. There were like 3 golf carts at one hole. That doesn't seem like social distancing. Keep it up people and we will be quarantined all of May.
They could wear a mask in the store as recommended by the CDC and they could use good social distancing while out shopping.saltydog13 said:
What are they supposed to do for groceries if you don't want them shopping? Or were they walking close to people and not giving space?
I've been playing golf since I was 6. Outside of riding in a cart I have never been within 6' of a fellow player. 1 man to a cart makes golf almost 100% safe as others have pointed out.poolgirl1 said:

Good friend in Georgia's club is requiring only 1 person to cartAggie said:
One man to cart must be brazos county thing.. pecan lakes in Grimes County is still letting 2 to a cart.
I agree with the rest of your point; masks, distance, walk with a purpose without playing, etc.BrandoC said:

These rules are dumb and not beneficial unless I am missing something. How does forcing me to buy your drinks and snacks and the added interaction it will involve help anything?91_Aggie said:
3. Outside food and beverage will not be allowed on property, however sodas, beer, bottled water and packaged snacks will be available in the clubhouse.
On the Course:
1. There will be no water stations on the golf course. Bottled water is available in the clubhouse.

While I agree golfing is way more distanced than grocery shopping, there is no way your statement is true. I cannot think of a single time other than playing solo where I have not been within 6' of another player on almost every hole. It would be very easy to not get within 6' of someone though.EliteElectric said:I've been playing golf since I was 6. Throw a water bottle or two in your bag. Nobody will know...or really care.Expert Analysis said:

Go straight to what you need to get, grab it and get out. Not play around in the aisles like middle school children or stop and have conversations with other people for 5 minutes. In their minds I am young, "they" say I can't get it, I am going to go around and do what I want no matter how it can effect other people.
