I would appreciate recommendations for places for my daughter to shop for a used car in the $10,000 price range. We're not seeing what we need in classifieds.

Dealerships? I know the ones in Bastrop are usually priced significantly lower than here on used vehicles
I recently bought a used car. After shopping locally, I ended up purchasing from a Sewell dealership. I liked my interactions with the Hyundai dealership in College Station the best of all local dealerships. I would not go back to BCS Toyota or Team Ford of Navasota. In both places, it was frustrating because prices weren't posted/known by the sales reps, and it takes too long to play their dumb sales game.

Just had an awesome experience with Carvana. Never dreamed I would buy a car on line.
We've purchased through Enterprise Car Sales and have been happy with the price and condition of the vehicles. Like Carvana, the online inventory is very convenient.
I have looked at their website many times it looks like even older vehicles have a 100 day warranty or 4000 miles local guys give you till your off their lot LOL

Works well unless you have a problem, the return process is a nightmare that can take 90 days or more. Personally, I'd never buy one from them.
