I signed up for the app to get weather and news on my laptop but I get dozens of advertisements and it locks my laptop up until I either close it or click on it.

The app site has a link to sign up but none to delete it.

Anyone know how to delete it?

If it is a MacBook, just go to applications and move app to trash. Then empty trash. If you have Windows, I have no idea. Have heard that it is harder to get rid of with Windows. It is not just KBTX. All Apps are like that. That's why I never do Apps. They sell your info to hundreds of companies.

Where did you download it from?

Considering that their website almost gives you a seizure with all the ads, I certainly wouldn't trust any kind of app.

I hope you get it straightened out soon but if you didn't get today's weather info, we got super close to a record high temp. Well, within 6 degrees but we still almost broke the record.
And we were only 34 degrees from the record low!

I am bummed that my phone won't get the alerts like when it starts misting tonight at 2am and it buzzes to tell me that.
