While I'm very familiar with weekend brunch

I'm searching for a weekday brunch/ holiday coffee option for a small group in December. Ideas? Places that have amazed you and had at least a little privacy?

Maybe consider 1541 Coffee & Pastries (they also cater), Tipsy Bean or Stella Southern Cafe. Stella (not related to the hotel) has delicious food. No privacy, but a great spot.

Stella is below average at best. But they couple that with high prices
