Have a push gas lawn mower(not self-propelled), gas edger/weed-eater and gas blower that haven't been used in two years, where might be a place that would take them and either give away or resell? They both ran very well before we hired a lawn care service, haven't tried to fire them up since.... Only wanting to get them out of the garage, if someone wants them please let me know....

I would take the mower!! I need to start mowing our lawn!

I tried to send a PM but no dice for some reason. I'll try again later.

I might be interested in the gas trimmer/edger...

the mower is Poulan.

The edger, weed-eater and blower are all Troy-built.

Again, they haven't been fired up in two years. Just want you to know before you take them. Free if someone will take them....

Thanks,

SOS Ministries (J.J. Ramirez) has a lawn service ministry. I think it's a part of the Men's Home Discipleship Program.

Since there are several others that need them I'll pass. I was going to rehab/resell but others obviously have a need for them.

Donations Accepted at

Habitat for Humanity . Location near Lake Street in Bryan. They are legit and build houses locally .

Twin City . Numerous locations to drop off. They have a shelter for people and serve food to the poor. They are local and legit.

Both places collect sales tax on items sold in their store, so our local economy benefits.

If you see the metal boxes in the parking lot, most of that stuff is sent to Austin or Waco.

For the other "big name" donation places, you will see 18 wheelers taking the stuff out of College Station.

Therefore, these things are not sold in our county.

I'd donate my stuff right here to a person or student in need.
