First of all, this thread is not about the quality of the tacos, just the sauce. I love good Mexican red and green sauce, and have tried lot's of them around town, but I'm sure i have missed some good one's too. what's your fave's? a few i like are are Garpez, La Perla, Taco Bar, Chimy's, and for some weird reason I like Pepe's hot sauce's only when mixed into their queso. for some reason it just works.

I was about to give a thumbs up to the sauce at Pepe's, but the original poster beat me to it.
Although not still around, the charred tomato salsa from La Bodega was pretty special.
That said, I heard recently that La Bodega is coming back in a big way soon.

Yoles out in Wellborn has a great homemade sauce.
"Medium green" at La Familia on Barron Rd at Hwy 6 is the absolute best sauce I have ever had.
Off menu green sauce at Casa Rod or Papa Perez. Hot stuff.

It's really good. MI Pueblito's green sauce is also good but hot as heck.

This. Favorite red is at Casas Rod.
Not sure if it qualifies as "hot" sauce, but the green sauce at Casa Ole is awesome.

I second Casa Rod's green sauce, although there are some days when it's crazy hot, but I still can't stop eating it.
I am also a big fan of El Sol's red sauce, both warm and cold versions. I've bought a cup of the cold version to take to parties and it's always a big hit.

I enjoy texmex more than mexican food so the Jalapeno ranch at Chuy's is my favorite. And no I'm not kidding!

Is it different than the Barron Rd location sauce? When Yoke's opened they had the same red and green sauce but did not have the medium sauce. And I normally eat the hottest sauce a place has but the medium sauce is fantastic.
Jose's has great green sauce. Just ask for it.

Taqueria Arandas green sauce. It will LIGHT you up!
You all should try out Taco Bar next to C&J's on SW Parkway. They have three different sauces. Pretty spicy but very good.
