Interested in restaurants and non restaurants. Specifically NON right now. Looking for a place to get my dog out tonight. She needs to stretch and move about.

She will sit, place, heel and off/no on command. Working on down still lol. she struggles a bit there still.

I just called Lowe's in Bryan and they are dog friendly, she said they have dog treats.

Sonic Drive-In on Wellborn at Rock Prairie gives out dog treats at the drive thru! I once asked at Chicken Express if they gave out dog treats and said no but Sonic does!

Might have to bring my dog to Lowe's when I make a return tomorrow

THE dog friendly place in BCS is The Backyard in Northgate. There's not a place that's more suitable than it is.

World of Beer also caters to pups.

Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and Lowe's are all dog friendly. They are actually great places to walk your dog if the weather is bad. I try to patronize all three businesses because of this progressive policy.

As far as restaurants are concerned: West End Exilir gets the gold star. New Republic Brewery is a good spot too. Most restaurants will allow dogs on the patio, but Torchy's has one of the better setups.

I would say the gold star is The Backyard

Is the Lowes/Home Depot policy for a pet under a certain weight? They would be cool with me taking in my 150 Rottweiler(very friendly)?

Yep. If I have to run a quick errand, I love having my dog with me. It's good for them to get different sights and smells.

However, I can't stand it when people do that with untrained dogs.

I've never heard of a weight restriction, if you are concerned, perhaps call. You're definitely going to want to keep your dog on-leash, though.

Speaking of keeping your dog on a leash...a runner stopped us at Lick Creek Park yesterday to say thank you for keeping our dog on a leash. He said he had been accosted by 3 dogs who were off leash but clearly not under voice control. He said when he told the owner that not everyone wants her dogs jumping up on them, etc. and that she should keep them on a leash, she got mad at him. Voice control means that your dog IMMEDIATELY responds to your voice. Leash your pups in public people.

Just confirmed Ozona won't let your dog on their patio. Never coming back. No. That's a lie. We love their patio
