Old fridge went out and we are getting a new one. What is the best way to dispose of the old one?

Chilifest would have been the perfect opportunity to get a college student to haul it off for free.

My old refrigerator went out (on Thanksgiving Day, awesome) and Best Buy hauled off the old when they delivered the new. I believe Lowe's and Home Depot offer the same service.

I removed the doors off a broken refrigerator a couple months ago and put the whole thing on the curb the night before our brush/bulk pick-up in Bryan. It was gone before the sun came up the next morning as there are people looking for these things. Don't know if Bryan would have picked it up but am told by others that they would have.

Post in the free section of Craigslist.

Just set it on the curb. It will be gone before you get home from work.

Opinion is right. Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Posted to free section on Craigslist. It disappeared from my curb in less than 2 hours on a Saturday.

I usually just push it into a creek or a ditch...
