Suppose to meet some friends in navasota for dinner, but not sure what's good there, if anything..... Just curious if anyone had a recommendation..


I know there is a Mexican place on six, I'm just not in the Mexican food mood, dude.. Sorry. Dude rhymed..

There is The Western Club which is both a restaurant and a dance club that has good food: burgers, sandwiches, chicken fried steak, etc. It is on the west side of 6. There is also a steakhouse called The Wrangler. I have never eaten there but have heard really good things about it. It's on the east side of 6 by McDonald's.

Mallett Brothers BBQ is pretty good.

I know you said no Mexican food....but I really like Castaneda's meat market in Navasota. They have legit Tortas and tacos. They aren't stingy with the queso fresco and avocado either. only a few tables.

Some friends swear by LA Casita. Not my favorite but ok depending on what you like. Not the enchiladas
Wrangler is hit or miss. Usually miss.
Mallett Brothers...no, just no. Expensive and not great.
Never been to The Western

Carroll's or T Dubb's for burgers my preference

New place called Big Mo's BBQ just opened. Pickup or delivery only. Pretty good.

Remember to avoid Martha's Bloomers if you have a service dog.

Anyone know if Martha's Bloomers is open tmr? I could go for a nice dog-free lunch.

Pretty good burger place in a former gas station there coming in from the highway. Pretty nice.
