Looking for a stand alone shop that sells everything you may want for your kitchen. Is there one here? Not appliances but utensils, pots, pans, etc.

Is there not a local shop that specializes in this category?

You can try KESCO, in Bryan. That is the only "stand alone" place I can think of. Otherwise, I would try Target or Kohls. They both have nice selections of home kitchen items.

Wasn't there one in the mall near the JC Penney? I haven't been to the mall recently.

Dillard's and Macy's also have a lot of kitchenware, but I would definitely make Bed Bath and Beyond my first stop.

KESCO is mainly a restaurant supply store, but you don't have to be a restaurant to buy from their store on Texas. However, that means that you're going to see things like 30-60 qt mixing bowls. It also means that the hours are M-F 8-5. No evenings or weekends.

So, it's very different from what you'd see at a Williams-Sonoma/Sur la Table type store. I enjoy browsing there, but usually don't find things small enough for my home kitchen.

You can get a sense of the kind of stuff they have at their website.
