The person answering the phone at the Bryan store last Saturday told me it should open this weekend. Yes, I called to ask.

Well, if he'd gone with "crappiedad", I would've just thought him a fan of one of the most delicious freshwater fish in the Lord's creation. Or, I s'pose it could be a woman with "issues".
Went this morning and still not open. Odd.
Shipley is planning on opening next Thursday morning.

Yesterday a Shipley's truck was backed up and they were unloading a bunch of stuff. This morning I could see uniformed employees inside as I drove by, but the open sign was not on and there were no customers.
So....looks like the wait is almost over.

They put a post on FB an hour ago that they are doing a test batch of donuts. Go see them for a free sample!
Definitely open and crazy busy at 6;00 this morning.
At 7:15, the drive-thru line wrapped all the way around the building and in to the Rattler's parking lot and out toward WD 40.
At 8:50 there were only three cars in it.
At 9, I walked in and didn't have to wait in line.
I passed by at 0600 and there were at least 6 cars in the drive thru and that many or more people inside in line.
That place is going to make a killing. Thank god we don't have to settle for 3 day old "top donuts" any longer.
