Which pool is typically the least crowded city pool? Either Bryan or College Station.

Thanks!!

Sadie Thomas pool by far, historically speaking. Should still hold true if they (COB) did get it rebuilt/repaired by this summer:

Second and likely more logical choice would be Sue Haswell pool downtown, however I do know there is a larger pool, Henderson Harbor, a little further up North than Sadie Thomas but cannot speak to attendance rates there. All of these would definitely be less crowded than tha BAC.

For College Station:

There is the Cindy Hallaran or the Thomas Pool being ' less crowded ' options than tha Lagoon but your best bet in any case is to use a more private pool, such as one at a neighborhood.

As CS residents, we have pool passes and usually go to Adamson Lagoon. We get there at opening time, usually on Sundays, and stay for a few hours. It's usually quieter at this time. By the time we leave, the pool is getting pretty crowded. They have a nice water slide, great deep end, concessions, and 'lily pad lane.'

Other smaller pools, like Thomas Park Pool, may not get as crowded, but my kids get pretty bored. The Southwood Hallaran pool is a bit nicer than Thomas pool, but it's designed for small children (zero entry, no deep end or diving allowed, no concessions) and my kids outgrew it a couple years ago.

Thomas pool is used a lot by daycare and it's pretty hopping place on a weekday.

I was there last night for swim team practice and didn't see a diving board. Adamson Lagoon had one years ago. You can still see where they patched the concrete where it used to be. I suspect they were removed due to liability issues.

Doesn't Bryan Aquatic Center have a diving board?

So now College Station has ZERO pools with diving boards. Unbelievable!
