Anyone experienced bad service here lately at their curbside pickup?

The girls were super sweet, but it sucks to get home and discover both missing items and part of the order was prepared wrong.

I understand I could've checked every single box but it's difficult to do in your car since they are bringing it out "curbside". I also always gladly tip just assuming the order is correct.

Only asking for thoughts because this seems to never happen at a place like Roadhouse with excellent service 99% of the time.

When I worked here 10+ years ago as a hostess...we rarely messed up orders.

Also noting another guy had driven back up the restaurant as I was pulling back up because he steak was prepared wrong.

May have been an "off" day for them. I went to Koppe a while back. The food and service were awful. Went back again, and everything was great. We all have our "off" days.

Ordering a steak through takeout is a no no.

We actually didn't order steak this time--was missing veggies, honey mustard for chicken tenders, and smothered chicken was covered in onions when we asked for no onions.

But even when we do or steaks to-go, they are always great!

I hope it was just an "Off" day.

I did, and she just apologized and asked me to drive all the way back up there.

Which, I did---annnnd the rest of our food was cold by the time I got back home.

My husband and I will do restaurant pickup when we've got a hankering for something for the sole purpose of avoiding having to take our infant inside. He's not a "screamer" but we'd rather not spend our dinner worrying about him disturbing diners around us.

To go food generally does not taste as good.

It's been prepared for awhile and sitting in a container continuing to cook and absorb condensation.

A pillow.

Sauted mushrooms and jack cheese.

Big fan of TR. But, we have noticed a couple quality issues in recent visits. The good overwhelms the bad, though, so we will continue to frequent the place. But, I can see where folks might have issues.

Readfield's has great "take-out" steak. You go and buy an awesome t-bone, strip, or filet there, you take it out to your house, and slap it on the grill.

Not about take out but I have had problems with their staging area. I am fine waiting to be sat, but do not tell me we are going to be seated untill we are going to be seated. I would rather remain seated then stand in front of the hostess stand for ten minutes. Seems like their organization has gone down lately.

Not a fan of the "tower of power" that their little queens look down on us minions from.

I've had more take out orders done wrong than right.

Gotta agree with BCStalk and aggiepaintrain. They suck at getting people seated and the girls behind the throne not grossly inefficient. I don't like having to wait another 10 minutes after being called. Then of course they also tell us the wait is "15 minutes" and it ends up being 30, or they say it is "30 minutes" and it is over an hour.

Last two times I've been there, they've hosed up at least one order of a person in my party.

They brought me the wrong thing, twice, and I had to ask for a manager because the dolt who was our waitress couldn't figure out how to get it right. They should have given me the food for free since it took 30+ minutes after everyone else got their food before mine came out correct.

Last week one of my friends had the same problem when we were there. They brought out the wrong thing twice, and the third time it was still wrong, but close enough that he didn't care, even though they billed him for what he actually ordered which was a couple of dollars more.

They are just too busy for the staff they have which makes more and more errors inevitable.

Fail on your part here ,not excusing them, but joe Pesci said it best." YOU ALWAYS GET PBUCKED IN THE DRIVE THRU" double check, trip,LE check, and quadruple check before you leave.new flash, humans make make your order , and you know what, they will make mistakes,like you, who I promise is not perfect. Deal with it, since 50% is your fault

What is the point of "curbside/bring it out to you/stay in your car" service if its necessary that you take all your sacks and boxes inside to check every item?

Just stating that when my friends and I worked there when we were 16 and 17 years old several years ago...it was a privilege to be on To-Go's--I guess a "Rite of Passage" to being a server soon and we were able to make decent tips. Unlike being a server where others sometimes deliver the food to tables and may not see a mistake....the To-Go girls physically look at and put each item in a bag.

There should be very little room for error. You see the chicken has onions when the order shouldn't...you send it back. You see that you are missing broccoli...you ask for broccoli.

I love Roadhouse and will continue to dine in and order to-go. Hopefully next experience will be better.

I've done that and still had a 20 min wait or more.

Never had a problem with the BCS one or anywhere else. Sounds like an isolated event.

I agree with whoever said the to-go food doesn't taste as good as eating in.

And the poor schleps standing outside wait an hour.

We used to go every football Friday night and never had to wait after calling ahead.

We don't get Roadhouse To-Go often but when we do, it's always correct.

Our order is wrong at least 90% of the time. We have talked to managers and received coupons and yet they still get things wrong. We are done with them.

you do know that the wait time they tell you is dependent on whether they want you to leave or not. If they say 15-20 minute wait, you will stay - as it would take that long to go somewhere else.

If they say 30 minutes - it's a tossup to what you will do.

If they say an hour or more, they are basically saying, please don't stay.

Their goal is to have enough people waiting, so they don't have an empty table.

The wait time may also be contingent on whether you are trying to get one of the better tables at a particular restaurant.

If there;s a maitre d, bribes can shorten the wait time. A lot.
