Does anyone have experience with them and comments on build quality?

I noticed they have a few homes in Austin's Colony (new part in the back - Archer Circle for example). We're looking to buy or build in Bryan.

We put a contingent offer in on one of their homes in a different neighborhood. We noticed that the doors and cabinets weren't the best quality but were ok with it. Our biggest problem was when we received the reply to the offer, there were extremely unprofessional remarks between the Omega sales manager and the listing agent about our realtor (the previous correspondence was clearly not meant for our eyes and someone forgot to delete it). In addition to that the Omega sales manager was very rude and condescending in her response. Based on the comments and horrible customer service, we decided to go with someone else and we definitely made the right decision.

They're newer to CS but not new to building. They are family owned and operated if I remember correctly. Great floorplans with the ability to still customize.

I don't know anyone in their sales area. But, my brother in law runs their construction here. You will not meet a more honest, hard working, good character individual. He is from here and moved back to the area to work for them. Great family.

OP - We just went thru the building process for a new home in south CS and we used Pitman Custom Homes (Jimmy Pitman). His wife is a realtor and handled most of the design selections, etc. They were both great to work with and very responsive as issues came up. He has a number of very nice features that are standard in his homes. We ended up very pleased with the house and the process itself was as stress-free as possible.

I also know that Pitman has a number of homes being build and lots available in the newer area of Austin's Colony that you are looking at. I wouldn't hesitate at all about getting in contact with him.

We just found out about Pitman last night and in the bitter cold (30's) walked through 2 of his houses in Austin's Colony. We've heard great things as well! glad to see too they both had wood burning fireplaces.

Really like the big lots in Greenbrier on River Rock but not sure if any builder can build in there or the sq ft requirements.

Pitman does build in Greenbriar.

Nice to see the pitman's get some positive p.r. they have quietly built some very fine spec and custom homes over the last 4 years. Aggies.SEcond gen homebuilders and especially nice to work with!

Brew, my builder Travis Lyon of Lyon Homes has a 0.5 acre lot on Castellon Ct. He built our house 4 years ago in Castle Rock and did a wonderful job. It was stress free because of him and how he handled the whole building process.

Not at all! Sorry it took me so long. We are using Reece Homes. Bryan Reece and his wife, Jennifer are awesome! The homes we have seen of theirs are beautiful. So far our experience has been wonderful. You really feel like they are focused on you. www.reece-homes.com He is also building in Austin's Colony.

We moved into a new Pitman home about 6 months ago. Can't say enough good things. So easy to work with, best value we found for quality.

You can see Pittman and Lyons homes in Estates of Creek Meadows for comparison. They also have Spirit Design Build, who we used and highly recommend, as well as Shafer Custom Homes, who is one of the top custom builders. You might take a look in the neighborhood and walk through some of the ones on the ground right now. They're building about 15-20 homes on one of the new streets, and it would give you a good idea of the build quality at various stages of construction.
