Not sure how you plan to ship but think many consider things packed in dry ice hazardous cargo. Typically things shipped by air are the problem ones. Can do but very expensive and lots of paperwork
I understand typically dry ice is hazardous cargo and from what I've found usually has seperate labeling on the package. Its only going to Denton. I was told to ship FedEx so I'm going to call FedEx and ask them about it.
And Navasota HEB? Pretty sure the new HEB is a lot closer to College Station.
Think FedEx it not "dangerous" but has special labeling and there are requirements like not sealed. Dry ice at kroger and HEB is not cheap and suspect brazos valley welding would be a better source for the amount you will likely want. Typically you pack in a Styrofoam container with a layer of ice on above and below of the item but not against it.
The limit on Dry Ice is 5lbs. We can package and ship it for you, either UPS or FedEx. I would suggest using UPS Ground since it will be there in one day. Ground services are usually better with UPS than FedEx.
I'm shipping a deer hide to a tannery in Denton. I spoke with the guys at the tannery and they said FedEx would be better because it would arrive next day without any extra fee. I also asked about dry ice and he said that would probably be good, but didn't mention anything else. The hide is wrapped well in a large black garbage bag. How should I put the dry ice in the package, or should I just call and ask FedEx?
