My youngest turns 3 in a couple of months, and I need to start my party planning. We've done children's museum, Gattiland (when it was here) and here at the house.

Aside from ChuckECheese, what are some other venue options for toddlers??

Thanks!

A friend had her son's party at Power Sports. The kids had a GREAT time, and I'm betting a good nap afterwards!!! Basically, all my friend did was show up with food, drinks, paper goods, and party favors; their staff took it from there and handled everything from monitoring the kids to set up & clean up.

I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. We have done Chuck E Cheese, Gattitown, the bowling alley and powersports for birthday parties. Of those, chuck e cheese has been my favorite. The kids love it and everyone gets fed for not much more than a powersports party where all they do is give you punch and you provide everything else. Plus the added security of no one being allowed in or out without checking the hand stamp. Other options are the movies, Chickfila, McDonald's, ice skating, swimming or park parties. When your child is a little older something like UPaint it or painting with a twist is fun.

We rented the southwood community center in December. It was nice. There is the skate park (three year olds love scooters there) and to just run over the course. It even got dark on us and that was more fun. We had some fun indoor games set up themed after the game show 'minute to win it' that all ages loved. There is also the playground for smaller ones that you can easily walk to. I like the indoor alternative so weather is not an issue. We had pizza rolls delivered and took cupcakes. Seemed very easy to me. NurseC: as reference, I am Coopers aunt and he had fun.

We have been to parties at all three gymnastics places (Thunder Elite, Powersports, Brazos Valley Gymnastics) and of the three, BV Gymnastics was the best based on how the party was handled. It was more informal, less rushed, and better layout (IMO). I think these are good parties for this age group, and great for summer birthdays since they are indoors. Party options also include Ice Skating, Bowling (and the other activities at Grand Station).

if your kids are old enough, make the drive to Horseshoe Junction in Brenham. go carts, putt putt golf, laser tag, arcade, and kind of a bungee jump trampoline thing. 40 minute drive, easy to get to. they have food. kids have a great time. much better time than anything else here in town for kids to do, although i still don't understand why.

We've done PowerSports a couple of times and love it! We also did Chick-Fil-A for our 2-year-old and had a great time! Bounce houses/slides are great also.

You could also consider one of the Bryan or CS pools. My kids have been to several parties at Adamson Lagoon and the Hallaran pool on Rock Prairie and always have a good time.

We just had my son's 3 year birthday party this weekend and rented a bounce house. I like that better than one of the gymnastics facilities because we had the bounce for 4+ hours. The gymnastic place herds you through in about 90 minutes max. At the house, the kids played, had a snack or drink when they wanted, then back to the bounce house or sandbox. The party started at 10:00 and the last guest left at 2:00. EVERY child took 2+ hour naps when they got home.

We had my son's 4th at U-paint it.

It was awesome. It was a pirate theme and most of the kids picked out skulls to paint.
