How long do you want to ignore this user?
Last night the lightning stuck close to the house and fried our flat screen, xbox, cable box, other tv, microwave and probably other stuff we haven't found yet.
Anywho, we need to get the TV fixed and I don't see many reviews online for a good TV repair place. Does anyone have any past experience with any of the repair shops around BCS? Negative or positive reviews would be helpful. I dont want to go through any headache to try to get this stuff fixed.

Lin's TV Repair. They used to be on 2818, but I think they moved out past the airport, just before the exit for 47 (or whatever that cutacross is that takes you to 21).

Have you used them before?

Yep. It's been a while, but they were our go-to when we'd do stupid stuff at A&M and screw up our electronics.

My parents used him on my recommendation and he saved them a ton of money (fixed a small cheap part when they were thinking of buying a whole new tv). IIRC, he made a housecall to Navasota to fix theirs, too.

Also, you can do a site specific search on Google and find old threads about Lin's.

In the google search bar, type www.myBCS.com:lin's. You'll see several threads linked.
