Just put my car up for sale (that I paid off 6 yrs ago) and can't seem to locate my ownership papers.

Have a seller lined up now and need to obviously transfer the car the right way.

Whats the best/fastest option for me to get title on my car?

Go up to the county vehicle registration office and get a copy or request one in the mail.

You actually have to go to Waco to get the title in person - you can get the form to mail in at the Brazos County office, but that's it. Mail goes to Waco as well.

I had to do this in August. I sent off the title request form to the office in Waco, and it came back pretty quickly. It was really cheap, too.
