I have been very happy with Kwik Kar by Post Oak Mall.

Not sure about cheapest, but Aggie-owned Wolf Creek has had my business for years...and you get a free car wash too.

Don't need car wash.... just in and out oil change for $20 - $40 dollars....closer to $20 the better....

American Lube Centers on Briarcrest is pretty quick. They may not be the cheapest. Wal-Mart might be the cheapest.

They have Midas oil changes for $15 all the time, and that includes a tire rotation.

I use Texas Oil & Lube on Wm J Bryan (in BRYAN) near the post office and stay in my car. Takes about 10-15 minutes. Good service and good price.

Try the Shell quick lube place on TX ave. between WJB and 23rd st. The are next to the Dairy Queen and you just pull in and stay in your vehicle while they do the work in about 10 minutes. They used to be $19.99 but has since gone up. My last one cost $30 for lube, oil, filter and washer fluid along with other checks. Give them your card and drive out. Easily done during lunch unless that location is too far from you.

Sevciks has coupons around for $24.99 valvoline oil changes and are very quick and professional.

American on Briarcrest overfilled my oil a few yearss ago. Apparently could have caused me QUITE a problem had I not discovered it quickly and had it fixed. I have a plain old run-of-the-mill SUV and there was no excuse for them to have screwed it up.

We go to Wolf Pen Creek and tell them just change the oil. No, thanks, we don't need any of that other crap. No, thanks. Just change the oil. I hate how they always want me to have my pistons checked, Johnson rod cleaned (tribute to George Costanza there), etc. but they at least can do the oil properly.

Mobil One off of W. Villa Maria near 2818. They are always quick and friendly.

Walmart is not cheap and more than likely not fast.

I have been to Midas at TX and 2818 once and will never return. paid for oil change, tire rotation and to plug a screw hole in a tire. All I know is I had a new oil filter, the tire was not plugged and the tires had not been rotated. A customer should never have to point out that services that were paid for were not performed...

I use All American at the SW Pkwy location most of the time. They are really fast and definitely between your $$ ranges.

I use the American Lube center on Texas in Bryan. Many times they are nearly done by the time I get inside and finish paying for it!

Doesn't American usually do a $17.76 oil change around the 4th of July?

Well I tried out Sevciks and was more than pleased.

1) Asked for Oil Change, got Oil Change with no fuss. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you go in for service A, and they come out while they've got your vehicle back there and say, "well you really need X, Y, and Z and your Johnson Rods need to be replaced and your air filter and etc"....

This didn't happen. I was pleasantly surprised ! I asked for an OIL CHANGE, and I GOT AN OIL CHANGE, not a bunch of upselling...

Also was in and out in about 25 minutes. Free drinks, and handed the remote to the tv, and sat in lazy boy chair while I waited.

I like their punch card as well. 5 oil changes and you get a free one.

It's not the fastest, but I only trust my oil changes at the car dealership. The last car I had I always went to the 10 min lube places and by the time my car was paid off, it was leaking oil because they kept stripping out the oil pan plug. SOOOO I vowed to just go to the car dealership! That's just my opinion!
