I have been craving my first bowl of this stuff for a while. I intended to hit up Vietnamese Taste, but I heard they were closed/moving and no answer on their number. Who has the best pho in town?

Pho John's is okay... it gets the job done

Rosie's Pho is pee water

the best was vietnamese taste, but they closed down last month, I have been hearing that they are suppose to be moving to a new location in college station, but I have no clue if that is true or not.

Where is Pho John's? I've had Rosie's and it is pretty good.

In the same strip mall thing as Cici's and Hobby Lobby. It faces Texas Avenue.

We ate at Rosie's a couple of times right after they opened, but given that they've been shut down by the health department a couple of times, I can't bring myself to go back in there.

Rosie's with good baba tea. Wife gets it there often. New workers every time she goes in. Help wanted sign perpetually in window. Wife says best pho in town is Vietnamese Taste on College Main behind NG.

EDITEDjust saw Vietnamese Taste is closing in OP entry. My bad.

Pho John's is good, not great pho. But it is arguably the best in town. Truck on down to Houston if you want some pho that will blow you away. Or learn to make it at home...its actually not that hard.

Its not that hard to just make it. Its extremely hard to make it taste good.

True that.

Pho John's is closed.

I heard the Aji place that opened up there had pho but they don't. Where is the best place for a pho now?

They kept making a good version of Pho John's for a while but stopped a few weeks ago. Caught me by surprise too.

That makes Vy's my favorite now. I never really cared for Rosie's but many like it.

What?!!!! We were there slurping up pho about two months ago. We eat out more in the summer but when school starts we don't go out quite as much until football quiets down. Bummed. Do they still have spring rolls?
carpe vinum

Yes, they expanded the rolls and ditched the pho.

They still had spring rolls.

We ended up getting Ramen which was good but not as good as twisted noodle.

I like Rosie's. The rib can get her nails done next door, too.
