AJ02, yes he is t he best IMO.

Cliff @ Arsenal is the best guy in town. Actually, he's good enough that people come from out of town to get him to do their work.
Cliff at Arsenal is best. Old poster who went by TA2DAG or something like that swore by Cliff and said that the guy at Consortium was good, buy sometimes his "altered state" made him a risk.
Edit: Noticed you have stars. Search for some of Becky's old posts and she covers this topic pretty thoroughly.

My last piece was done at Arsenal by Andreas. He did exceptional work on an intricate black/white piece for me with lots of shading/etc. He was very professional and a pleasure to do business with.
What I want is pretty small. Think I'd be able to just walk in at 3:00 on Saturday? Or would I still need an appointment?
I got mine at Tattoo Consortium; when nerds have tattoos, it's definitely the Last Days.
And forget about the hepatitis. Their gear is sterilized, and they told me how to keep it clean to avoid infection after the fact.

Cliff at Arsenal hands down. Personal friend, damn fine human being and a straight shooter. You'll have to wait, and, maybe pay a little more but you'll be better for it.

Another vote for Tattoo Consortium - have dealt with them a couple of times, both myself and with others, and they are excellent.
Derek at To The Point on Walton Dr. He was at poking you until they closed. Amazing artist. Also like arsenal but it can take a while to get in there
Andreas no long works for Arsenal. Cliff is the best, by far. Have a couple from Michael C. at Tat. Consort. and Cliff actually did all of the touchups and add ons. I was not pleased with Michael C.
I'll never go anywhere besides Cliff at Arsenal. Amazing artist, super nice guy, and the shop is clean and very professional.

Cliff hands down. It will take longer to get in and may cost more, but you get what you pay for. Ive been working on one for about 2 and a half years not on my leg. I have had three sessions with him so far. He is not your typical tattoo artitst. Heck of a nice guy. I would drive hours to get here to have him do work for me.
I have three. My first was done by Pat at Arsenal back when Cliff was up and coming and the shop was still on Texas just north of Villa Maria. Cliff did my other two. He also designed my exhusband's full leg sleeve. I know I moved away, but I do have plans for more ink and I fully plan to come back to Cliff.
All this talk makes me want a new one.
