Looking for a souce of quality bathtub refinishing. any suggestions? or warnings as to who to avoid?

Give Rick or Selida a call with Bathtubs and Fixtures. Their number is 422-9499 and they have a website, bathtubsandfixtures.com . The did a refinish job for me over a year ago on a tub that was in very poor shape. The porceline finish was worn through, stained with comet and they were able to prep and treat the tub prior to refinishing and gave an end product that looked like a brand new tub. The final finish was a hard, glossy finish and didnt look like a painted finish. The new surface was stain resistant as well. They can give you the in's and out's of the applications. So far, no call backs on the job. They also came back to buff out a couple small bumps once they were done. From my understanding, its all in the prep work. There are a few guys in town that will do it cheaper than them, but they have been called in to repair jobs these other guys do for a cut rate. Give them a call and see if they can help you out.

Stay away from any Miracle Method contractors in the area. They say they service this area, but really, its a contractor's son who goes to Blinn who handles his BCS business. The little brat AND his father do bad business, don't answer phone calls, were consistently rude and aggressive. Yuck!
