Can I leave our Christmas tree out for the regular brush/bulk trash pick up day? Or is there a place to take them?

College Station residents can recycle their Christmas trees through their curbside collection service. The Sanitation Division will collect trees curbside between Dec. 26 and Jan. 9. The trees will be collected on the same day as your Brush and Bulky items.

How to prepare the trees:

Please remove all ornaments, icicles, lights, nails, etc.
Tree stands must be removed.
Unflocked Christmas trees only.

Come drop it off at my house. I need firewood and dont care what kind

They burn dirty. Not good for fireplaces.

I have an out door fire pit. I dont really use my fireplace.

And I only want it for the wood, not the green.

It's on my curb mazag...if you can get to it before the CoCS!

I caution you about putting your tree out early.

My parents put it out about 4 days ahead of trash pickup one year, and some kids came by and torched it.
