Looking for places that actually refill the 20lb tanks to their full capacity. I am not talking about the "exchange" centers (Blue Rhino, Amerigas, etc) that are all over. These only contain 15lbs of gas. Did my last exchange today when I saw the sign of how much gas these exchange places put in them (what a rip).
Thanks

Uhaul across from CS Wal*Mart is good.

Sevciks (west side of Walmart in service station)

They fill by the gallon, and reasonable.

last two times I have been into U-haul the pump was broke.

The U-haul in CS is good, and also Gas-Tec on Texas Ave. in Bryan.

I used to use Sevcik's, but found that Brazos Valley Welding Supply on 2818 is a lot cheaper

Sharp propane on the NE corner of hwy 21 and business 6. They are very convenient if your tanks are still on your RV since their parking lot is so big.

If you can just do an exchange, HEB is the easiest I have used...and cheapest

I had never considered the price variation being due to how much they put in. I noticed the new HEB had the exchange for about $5 cheaper than everyone else. I wonder if that is the case. Now I have something else to check before I take the "great deal".

Well if its blue rhino or amerigas at HEB, they all fill theirs to 15 lbs "for safety". I guess if you go this route then find the best price possible. I'm not any more.

HEBs actually have 17 pounds in them.

$15.99 and very little hassle can sometimes be worth whatever the difference is for those extra 3 pounds.
