Does it seem like summer is going on forever this year? I don't expect the first cold blast until about mid-November, but this high-80s crap is ridiculous.

Sorry, I just needed something else to complain about that I can't affect (other than Aggie football).

Where do you live? Because this has been the nicest September / October in Bryan College Station I can ever remember.

Please allow me to officially put in my request for rain.

Probably that pesky Aggie Dome has something to do with this.

We have two seasons here in B/CS, Early Summer and Late Summer.
Early Summer begins Jan. 1 and Late Summer ends December 31.
We had a cool rainy season we called Bonfire Weather, but since bonfire has been officially eliminated, it's just hot and dry.

The weather has been lovely, staying in the mid-80's. Sure as heck beats the mid 90's we had a month or so ago.

60's & 70's >> 80's & 50's >> 90+ and 49-

Outside of generally working our way into the rainy season about now. The Temps have been pretty much average. Nothing new, cool mornings and warm afternoons. I don't ever recall a cold October.... ever.. Maybe a pretty cool Halloween but that's two weeks off.

They call it an Indian Summer.
It will end soon.

annoying I know. I thought 2 weeks ago that FALL had settled in and we could expect lows at night in the 40s or 50s and highs during the day in the 70s and low 80s, but apparently not. the humid air has returned. BOO.

It might bring some rain with it. But I am eager for November.

ditto that request for rain! I'm tired of watering my yard.

Doug, I will grant you that it has been mostly dry and thus more comfortable than normal...until this past couple of days when the humidity has sucked again.

I love everything about this town except the weather and the d-bags that take up all the parking on my street with one-ton duallys that are always, magically, sparkling clean. But that is for another thread .

Consider moving to Seattle!! Temps in the 50 - 70 range most of the time and it rains there.

Don't you people know any better? Spring lasts from March 1st until April 30th. Summer occurs between May 1st and November 30th. Autumn goes from early December until mid-February. Winter lasts for approximately three days in February.

My biggest beef with the temperature is all of the cute "fall" clothes with pumpkins on them for kids are all long sleeved. Come on cold weather. :0)

Rain would be fantastic, and these 90+ days are a bunch of BS. I'll take cold, rainy October days over this crap anyday.

We were in Seattle during April a few years ago. It only rained one evening and the weather was wonderful. At a t-shirt shop I saw one that said "Seattle Rain Festival Jan 1 - Dec 31" At least they have a good sense of humor about the weather.

Vampires up there. Werewolves on the reservations, too. It's always ... twilight ...
