Tower Point HEB Opening?

Sept 29th is supposed to be the date.

Think positive, Blue! Both the CS HEB employees and Oldham Goodham are still saying Wed the 29th.
Unless you have been inside the store how can one make the determination of just how far along they are? The outside looks pretty darn good with new things popping up every other day or so. I'm guessing that the construction and make ready crew will be working really long hours here in the last few weeks (maybe 24/7?)
Great... another thrown together big-box building. I know they have a targeted date, but with all the recent rain and such, I'd rather have them take their time pouring the parking lot and cleaning up before opening up hurriedly with everything in disarray. I just can't imagine that they can open by the 29th and expect to not have operational problems...
Don't be confused. I'm all for the new HEB and I can't wait to shop there, but I'd rather have them take their time and not cut corners.

If you want optimistic positive thinking then I am not your guy.
I base my "not going to make it" upon the fact that I drove by the new Lowes almost everyday of the construction, and 2.5 weeks out the Lowes looked completely done on the outside, which made us think that they could open earlier - obviously they were still finishing inside.
The HEB which I also drive by everyday, looks far from finished.

HEB will be ready on the targeted date. HEB has the construction and setup of this particular prototype down to a science. Anyone who understands commercial construction(obviously not Blue Team) can look at the site and see that there really isn't all that much left to be done.
Parking lot's been poured for a long time now. One of the first things done.
I was there most of the day. It will be ready. The same crew helped with the Katy store and the New Braunfels stores that have identical layouts. Not being a construction worker, it seems incomplete to me, but all the hard hats I talk to say it will be done with time to spare.
they're pulling out, College Station ruled they're colors too close to orange and can't open unless they paint the outside maroon.
Lights ON at the gasoline island this evening. Progress continues!!!

We went last night...It was simply amazing..Row after row of food on shelves..Some in boxes and some in cans and get this..some just laying around its naked beauty......
