How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have scorpions IN the house. I have sprayed a 'barrier' of Deamon WP around the perimeter (about 2' wide) and I'm still finding them in the house.

I have a pier and beam house so I'm sure they are living under the house too. What's the best way to get rid of the (or at least keep them outside)?

Pier and beam houses can be tricky because it's always nice and cool, moist, and shady under there...perfect for all kinds of pests!

I'm sure I'll hear some disagreeing voices, but our experience with diatomaceous earth has been less than stellar, especially for scorpions. We've seen some sporadic results on fleas and roaches, but nothing more than that in our experience.

We have a couple different things we do specifically for pier and beam houses, including using our "power duster" to coat the underside of your house with a fine dust insecticide. For the record, what we use is less toxic than table salt to humans and other mammals.

If you can afford a power duster and are able to buy the right kind of insecticide, that's what I would recommend. Otherwise, call Venus Pest Company and we'd be happy to help you out!

For inquiring minds- what does the dusting run?

I feel like if I get rid of what is currently living under the house I can probably keep them out with proper applications of Deamon WP around the perimeter.

I live in rural Grimes county.

I would say that whatever they charge to dust would be well worth it. There is probably no bigger challange in pest control than Shipwreck/the boat. Venus does a outstanding job and comes back as often as it takes to make it right. Dusting under the ship is a huge part.
