My sister in law is in desperate need of a reliable gently used car or small SUV for under $2500 .I am sure she can come up with a few more hundred dollar for the right car especially in great condition. She was hit by a truck and her 2004 car was totaled of course since it almost paid off!

I make my living selling cars. I would suggest searching craigslist and such to see what you can find. That amount is tuff to get into for a cash deal. Cars are high right now...just like everything else. If i can help let me know. 979 324 5225 Jason.

I see lots of cars less than $3000 at a place just before you get to Navasota on the right side of the highway before the river next to a U-haul place.

Also on Texas ave in Bryan near Hwy 21 across from the Bryan cemetary seems to always have cars with big shoe polish prices on them for less than $3000.

+1 for Craigslist. Check out the vehicles, and make sure they have a clean title. One of the things I found with some of the $3k dealers in the area were the cars were either ridiculously high milage, or they had salvage titles.

You might ask this question on the Automotive Board. Lots of good advice and a few dealers.

True , but at 2500 cash, salvage may be a option. I personally don't buy salvage. And i dont sell 2500 dollar cars. The quality at that price is not what i wan't to be known to sell. But with some time you might find a steal.

It is a no pick car! No financing.
