I have had three empty keg shells at my house for awhile now and wondering where in BCS I would take them to get some money. I originally got them at HEB, but they wont take them unless you have your original receipt. Ideas?

Sell them to a frat? Or find some other college kids looking to make an investment that will last them through their college career?

I'd sell them on craigslist to college kids for $25-30 each.

Fill them all up, make sure you keep the receipts, and throw one big party. Turn them in for the deposits afterwards. Oh and ask your neighbors first.

They make really good sawhorses, as long as you aren't cutting directly over them.

Convert them into a bar b que smoker!

They make great hot rod gas tanks.

If this somehow worked, it would be awesome. I doubt it will though because it still won't say on the receipt that you paid the deposit there.

Yes, I still have the kegs. What are you thinking.

If they are in good shape and full-sized you can bring them by my restaurant and I can pay you for them. We get a deposit back from the beer companies that I do not think I would have an issue passing along (would have to check for sure). That said, you may be able to take them to Kristen or Jack Hillard yourself.
