Best place to get boots resoled?

As per the title... I have a pair of boots I need to get resoled and heeled.

I know of the basic Holicks/Victors from my time in the Corps, but figure their turn around will be slow due to the demand for senior boots.

What other options are around that I don't know about, or should I stick with H/V?

I second Sam's. I've taken boots there to be resoled many times, and have always gotten quality work at a reasonable price.

It's been years but I had a pair of boots resoled at Sam's Shoe Service as well and he did a great job on them.

Victor's is pretty good at this, but better for installing non-leather soles.

And, they are open until 7 most nights, too.

Sam's if it's the one I'm thinking about just down from the park up there in Bryan where the road splits and goes one way on each side of the road
