Looking for a reliable person to do some minor sheet rock work and plumbing (fix a shower and change some corroded outdoor faucets out). Any recommendations? TIA!

I could use a few minor repairs at my place as well.

The husband of one of my best friends is an excellent "handyman." He is licensed/certified to fix sprinkler systems, plumbing, AC's, electrical. He paints, stains fences, fixes sheetrock, fixes appliances and basically fixes about anything. His cell number is 979-574-6710 and his name is Dennis. He has helped me with several repairs at my house and even contracted a deck that I added in my backyard. I highly recommend him.

TLIAC, you mentioned that Dennis could do all kinds of work, but he contracted your deck? Does he not do bigger construction projects such as that? The reason I ask is this: my aunt wants to screen her already-covered patio, which would require framing for two lightweight screen doors. She's not wanting anything fancy, just something to keep the mosquitoes out and the cat in. Do you know if he can do a job of this nature?

imissstark - he could have done it himself but he is trying to expand his business and that involves using sub-contractors sometimes. He used me as a "test" project to check out a new sub and to see if the sub-contractors bid a fair price. He and his wife are friends so he knew that I wouldn't mind. He has done several projects for me himself and I have not ever been disappointed.
