The owner of Allied Designs, David Tolleson, came by the house to sell me some new windows. I searched the forum and found some comments about siding, but not windows.

Can anyone help for recommendations (or warnings)? If I go with them, it's quite an investment and I would love to hear from others in the community.

We had Allied Designs do some work for us a number of years ago and would not use them again.

We have used Enercon windows and they did a great job on my mom's house. They were highly recommended to us by a friend who is a building contractor.

We had Allied replace all but one of our windows when we moved into our older home 12 years ago. They did an awesome job and the price was fair. We didn't have one window replaced because we were considering a remodel that would have taken out the window anyway. David is an honest guy and he has a crew that he keeps all year round, so you know who you're working with and if anything goes wrong, he's quick to respond and make it right. If I recall correctly, he's celebrating 30 years in business in BCS this year?
