Anybody ever use OpenTable.com to make a reservation in town? I see they have Luigi's, La Bodega, Eccell, Veritas, and Christopher's WG. Curious if it worked out well for you.

I used it to place a reservation (business meeting) for Cafe Eccell.

It worked just fine. I did call and double check the first time, and Cafe Eccell informed me that they received the info.

You will, however, get a flood of e-mails from Open Table once you set up an account.

When Open Table first started, I was hesitant to use it in lieu of making a phone call to the restaurant, but in Dallas, I used it all of the time and never had a problem.

I've used it here too for the few restaurants that are available. I always keep the reservation confirmation on my Blackberry in case there is an issue at the restaurant, but have never had a problem.

I've used Open Table many times for reservations here, Houston, and several other cities. Always had a good result. Never any problems. It is quick and easy!

I've used it successfully in the past. Only wish more restaurants in town used OpenTable!
