I found the little girl a home! My parents are adopting her. They are driving in from Paris, TX this Saturday to get her. It will be an ideal home for the dog because she will be a spoiled-rotten inside dog, and my folks do not work, so she will have company all the time.

Nobody--I'm sure there are lots of other dogs at the shelter who need a fabulous home. It sounds like you would make a great pet parent.

OnlyANobody, I'm sorry! You really would make a great (and enthusiastic) parent for another lucky dog. Sadly, the shelter probably is now overrun with sweeties left behind by some idiots who recently moved out of town. One of them is probably waiting for you!

I will email you if for some reason it doesn't work out, although those chances are slim! My Mom is already saying she can't wait to tuck her new doggy in on her velvet couch and feed her expensive dog cookies. That dog will be living better than me.
