Are you looking for design, structure building, plants/planting, maintenance? Different answers for each, IMO. A little more detail is needed to answer your question.
Here are some shots from my place, where we had several firms involved:
What about for moderate to heavy regrading and surface drainage work? I and a neigbor each need dirt moved around the yard to make water flow away from the house and toward ditches / creeks. Going to need a bobcat at a minimum.
You are going to want someone that can shoot the grades accurately and understands drainage, IMO. Gary Welch at Welch Construction may be able to help you with that and they operate a skid steer machine that can cut and fill.
We had that problem at the front of our house, so we packed some dirt up against the foundation to create a small ditch that runs the water into a catch basin. Then you just run a 4 inch pvc pipe out to the street from the basin. It was a good 6 hours of work, but only cost us around $150 total.
That of course would only be helpful if it slopes towards the house in one area.
