I have a friend that would like to do some volunteer work during the day to keep busy.

Can any one recommend a safe non-profit organization to do volunteer work for?

My friend prefers indoor work.

I volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club in Bryan on Mondays during Power Hour. 3-4 is when they are supposed to do homework. After 4 is more playground/gym type stuff.

Another vote for Still Creek Ranch. Go out there, you would be surprised at all the great things they have for kids. If any of my children were in school, I would send them there!!!

What is she interested in or passionate about? No use spending that much time volunteering unless you care about the cause.
