In years past, I bought expectant parents a baby music box that played the Aggie War Hymn at the old Rothers Bookstore. Traditions (formerly Rothers) doesn't carry them. Has anyone seen one or know where I can find them online? I've done searches without success and would appreciate any help!

We bought one at the campus bookstore three years ago. It was in a white satin case that tied to the bed or a doorknob.

You might also try the Blue Kangaroo. They had some Aggie things.

You should capitalize "War Hymn"

I'm going to try the Blue Kangaroo tomorrow. Everything else I've checked has been negative. I hope they still make them. A lot of times Rothers wouldn't even have them on display, but would have them in the back. You can't sell them if no one knows you have them! I found them once online, but all my searches have been in vain. Any other ideas or spotted somewhere? I may try calling various Babies R Us to see if one of them has it. A search of the site online was negative.

Texas Aggieland Bookstore on Northgate has had some in the past. They aren't really boxes, they looked like porcelein pieces that couldn't hold anything.

Haven't seen a music box but I did see a Jack-in-the-box that played the War Hymn as you turned the crank. Rev pops out.

I saw one these for the first time in a store I was dragged into down in Rice Village. I am pretty sure it was this place. They had Aggie and horn boxes.

Fighter, you should put a period after your quotation marks on your sentence. After all, fair is fair.

If you find one, please post and let us know where. I have one from when my son was born and would love to get one for our soon-to-be-born nephew.

BTW, have you checked the Keta's Hallmark on Rock Prairie? I know I've bought several Aggie baby items there in the past. They even had a Baby Einstein knock-off that was all Aggieland pictures and words.
