Okay, as I mentioned in the thread asking what you guys thought about me auctioning these tickets, I've got two tickets in section 118, row CC for the Jonas Brothers on Sunday at Rodeo Houston. I'm going to auction them off on this thread, and donate half the proceeds to Lisa Smith's medical expenses, and half of the proceeds to my friend Doug, who lost his mother this week and has a lot of expenses for the funeral/medical bills.

The tickets are GREAT seats, about 20-25 rows up from the dirt, right above the chutes. It's an awesome view for the rodeo and the concert. So if you guys have a kiddo that would love to see the Jonas Brothers, and you also want to help out two great families in their time of need, reply with your bid.

If you're in College Station, I'll meet you on Saturday. If you're in Houston (or want to forward this auction to someone in Houston), I'll meet you in NW Houston on Saturday. I just want to try and raise as much money as possible.

We'll start the bidding at $50, and minimum increase in bid is $10.

Auction will close on Friday at 3pm.

I do not post much on here, so I am a rookie. However, I read everyday and and have been on mybcs for a few years. It's so much fun to just read what all of you post. It's kind of like people watching, you can learn a lot about someone by watching. Same concept but with words.

You can learn a lot by reading people's posts - such as the guy who never posts, but then does so at the first mention of Jonas Brothers tickets.

And the guy who never posts until the first mention of helping out two families.

Dallas, Thanks again for the auction. My daughter and I had a great time last night at the Jonas Brothers. I explained to her how I came up with the tickets and she was thrilled. My mother is currently battling cancer so this meant a lot to our family knowing that a portion of the money is going to helpout a another cancer patient.

I'm glad you and your daughter had a good time. I love going to the rodeo down in Houston, and look forward to going to see Darius "Hootie" Rucker tomorrow night. It's actually the only show we get to go to this year, sadly.

I'm mailing out the check to Doug and his family today, and will be getting with Lisa and her family about getting their money to them as well. I'm glad there are people like you and your family in this community. It makes running a business that much more rewarding and fun.

lfayet, what time did the show start? We're going to see Brad Paisley tomorrow night and I'm trying to make plans. The website says 6:45, but a co-worker went the other day and said the concert didn't start until later.

How was parking?

Bait - email me and I'll give you the skinny on parking. The rodeo starts at 6:45 (really 7...grand entry parade is at 6:45), concert starts at 9 and lasts until 10:15.
