So I read on cstx.gov that they won't pick up mattresses on bulky disposal day. I live out of town and will only be there tonight to dispose of an old mattress...in my Mitsu Eclipse...suggestions?

I don't want to just leave it at the curb of my old residents in hopes that someone will pick up the set. I also know that it's supposed to rain tonight in College Station, no? So I don't wanna just leave it.

Is it in decent shape? Maybe call a charity. Twin City mission, Scotty's house, something like that.

I posted it on craigslist for free, and I'm know that Twin City Mission doesn't take mattresses, nor does Goodwill the last I checked about a year ago.

I just went to the CS Sanitation web site and I can't find where they say they will not pick up a mattress.

Try calling them at 764-3690.

Of course you will have to be a current CS utility payer.

Last year I threw one out on the street on bulk pick up day, and it was gone at 5:00 when I came home.

it says furniture that wouldnt fit inside of a trash can. maybe i will be lucky.

Mattress Giant let us put our old one by their dumpster.
