Anyone have any info on this company located in Navasota?

I appreciate the link but I have checked them out on the web. I was hopeful someone might have some local knowledge from dealing with them, etc.

We have them where we live. While the other company loses power everytime there is a storm, it takes a real act of God to make ours go out. By the time we call, they have someone out working on the problem, and power is back on shortly there after.

And if you have kids, they offer scholarships for graduating seniors.

While they technically are an electrical cooperative...they aren't your grandpa's coop from REA days. They have a progressive manager who will consider getting into other businesses to serve the membership if private enterprise is balking. I don't know if they still have their internet business or have sold it off. I know at one time or another they've played around with the idea or run the numbers on providing other "utilities" to the members in their territory.

When people talk about MidSouth's service, keep in mind it is generally in relation to the closest competition...Entergy. Not to belittle Midsouth because they don't compare unless asked...but comparing yourself to Entergy these days isn't really much of a high bar to exceed.
