I had Merry Maids clean my parents house last year. They did a great job. It wasn't a regular service, just a one-time thing but I was plased with them. If I could afford it, I would have them clean my house regularly.

I'm also interested in the topic. Any other suggestions? I suspect some hold on to their (good) housekeepers like they do babysitters....
Prefer to avoid the larger agencies/franchises like MerryMaid that tend to have higher management and other overhead.
