Barstool, the "minor" in MIP does not mean under the age of 17, it means under 21. These are usually issued to those between the ages of 18-20...my two cents...
Most of the time MIP's result in license suspensions and those show on a driving record. If you have a way to search driving records (there are some private services) then you would be able to see if their license had been suspended.
I meant it as a joke to him, but he pry won't even see this. He was the first person we looked up when we found that site in the dorm and sure enough, his MIP was there.
That's right, I forgot about the JP search. He must have received his MIP from UPD, TABC, DPS or a constable. They all file with JP's. MIP's written by CSPD and BPD will be filed with their municipal courts.
One exception, a couple of years ago I wrote two MIP's inside Kyle Field at a football game and those two were filed with a JP because I had to write them on a UPD officers ticket book.
