Oh I never did any professional spinning in CS- I had a very short "gig" in San Angelo at a nightclub called Finnegans but the mamanger couldnt afford to pay me because he insisted I only spin classic rock and its very hard if not impossible to dance to classic rock so the club was never very busy. One night we got a crowd of bar hoppers from club Maximus which was in the same strip center. I was spinning my classic rock like I was told and noone was dancing and people were leaving so I put on the murder mix of "You Spin Me Round" by Dead Or Alive. The other DJ immedialtly got into an argument with me and while we ween't looking, the dance floor very quickly filled up. When we both noticed the floor was full, I immedialtly started the lights goint to the beat of the music. The mamanger was actually able to pay me 25 dollars that night. Thats the only time I ever got paid so I left within a week or so. But I was later told they had never seen the dancefloor so crowded before

I still don't DJ professionally, but I do make hour long continuous dance mixes from the 80s and 90s for my own enjoyment. Todays music sucks compared to then.
