CRC Cabinet & Trim, (979) 778-1684. Cullon Cabler. Hands down one of the best custom cabinet and custom cabinet door makers in BCS or any place else. Been in business for 20+ years. Tell him I sent you.

Kent Moore cabinets in Bryan has been in business for a very long time. Not sure if they build for commercial or residential.

KM does both.

A&K is another one to consider.

Avoid Marcon, IMO. They did our house and we had several issues with them. We walked through with one of their employees to tell them what we wanted and where, style, etc. We even gave him a sketch and multiple printouts/examples of our preferences and Marcon managed to miss three or four major features that we'd requested (didn't give us a pullout for a trashcan, gave us drawers with the wrong internals, didn't put feet on any of our bases, etc). They also were supposed to build our entertainment center. I don't think they ever finishd the job - my builder had to finish putting it together because he couldn't get Marcon back out. He just kept getting the typical runaround from Mark (be there tomorrow if I have to come out myself, be there on Monday, be there on Wednesday, etc).

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have posted that as I've not done business with them. They were a prospective client almost two years ago and looked to do good work, and the owner was great to communicate with. It seemed like at that time they were cranking pretty good, and they've won Newman 10 awards (multiple, I think).

Oops, nevermind, they won just once...several years ago.

Keystone Millwork is another to try, although I'm not sure how much residential they do.

Yes A&K always had/have built a good box and in the cabinet business that is really hard to find these days. I was hoping you would come back and tell me that in fact they were still going strong. I believe I heard something along the lines of them shutting down or that they had split up. I hope that was just a rumor. Maybe someone can clear it up for us. Thanks

I have Kent Moore cabinets in my home (5 years old) and have had several issues with them, and therefore would not recommend them.

I'll look and see if I can out who did our cabinets, they are custom and about 6 years old and have been pleased with them. I'll see if I can find some sort of print or tag stapled underside somewhere and let you know. Our homebuilder was Greg Court, so whoever he uses (or used at that time).

A&K is still going strong. We are currently using them for a commercial job. Terrible communicators but they do great work.

I have Kent Moore Cabinets in my house and have put them in others I have built. I highly recommend them. Should you have an issue with them when they are installed they work on them until you are satisfied.

I know someone that loves making cabinets and has made it his career, now. His name is Wesley and his # 777-4012, I believe. He has been doing this for awhile and I have seen pictures of his work - really good. He works with new home builders, also, so he has experience. This is a Bryan small businessman. We need to support our local small businesses.
