Looking to fund some upgrades to my AR's and the M-14, so I need to let this one go. Figured I'd give TexAgs first crack before I go to Gunbroker.

Anyway, this is a hard to find M24-52c that started out life as a Czech VZ-24. It was rearsenaled, i.e. rebuilt, by the Yugos in 1952 and looks to have never been used since. I've had this rifle for about 4 years, but I've never even shot it. I have several other Mausers that serve as my blasters. It has a pristine mirror bore with sharp, strong, clean rifling; perfect blue; deep crest; straight bolt; all matching serialed parts (bolt, receiver, stock, floor plate). Flat buttplate with a Nazi WaffenAmt on it. Very nicely colored blond walnut stock with a very slight tigerstriped grain and a matching colored elm handguard. Couple of arsenal stock repairs to the wood, but very well done. No cosmoline, I cleaned and re-oiled the stock using Behr 600. I can do a FTF in the DFW area or I can ship it. If I ship it, you'll need to use an FFL since I've got my C&R and need to keep everything straight with the ATF. I'm asking $350, payment via USPS Money Order. If I ship it, it will be through USPS $30.

It is tempting.. 8mm mauser is tough to find.

Are they really? I've got a 8mm Mauser (Turkish, stamped 1942) that I thought was pretty much worthless.

THey're still pretty nice guns, if they are in decent shape. The action is classic, and they can kill about anything you shoot with it, even some pretty big game. A mauser bullet is usually in the 180-200 grain range.
