Anyone ever played a game where you try to swing a washer on a string onto a peg?

Played it at the Y-O Ranch. Lots of fun and good beer drinking game - don't even have to put your beer down. No idea what its called and never saw it before or since.

Got a place here in Denver that has it. We always called it what it is, Washer-String.

There is one in the bar at on the back side of Cozumel.

I don't know how long the string is in other places, but this one is about 15 or 20 ft long.

TMoney,

That's the first place I had ever seen it. A big group of Ags went down after finals back in 1993 and wound up spending a lot of time at that bar. I don't remember the string being that long, but then again, I don't remeber a whole helluva alot about that trip.

We brought it back to 703 Park Place and set one up on the porch. We called it the "ring game" as we used an 1.5 - 2" diameter ring as opposed to a washer. Good times.

I have one on my back porch. I used fishing line, a washer and a lag hook.

Someone mention a game to me where you have two golf balls on a string and try to "swing" them on the "rungs" of a "ladder" made of pvc.

Thanks for the info. I need some specifics on how to rig one up if you have any ideas. I have never seen it in person just had a friend tell me about it.

Zone- its called ladder golf or bolo ball. Google ladder golf. I have a set I bought and like it much better than the homemade sets b/c the balls are made of rubber and dont bounce like golf balls do on parking lot pavement.

Dudley's has the ring and hook game set up in the rear of the bar where one of the old pin ball machines used to be.
